It was the grand experiment in a European state: corralling its own citizens, viewing them as a threat. It had never been done before. There were no rules. People arrested, interned with no charges, hungry, sick, dying– because of who they were. A generation before Auschwitz!
The first showing of the documentary film “Changed by Thalerhof” will be Saturday, March 7th, 2015, at 1:30pm, at the Wayne Public Library, 461 Wayne Valley Road, Wayne, NJ 07470.
On display will be Lemko wood carvings as well as prints of paintings by the famous Lemko folk artist “Nikifor”. Refreshments will be served and all are welcome.
